Answers before you ask
FAQWhat is a cross-border B2B payment?
A payment from a business in one country to a business in another, settled in the currency each side needs. On Infinite the counterparty is reviewed once, FX can run inside the payment, and the rail is picked per corridor across stablecoin, SWIFT, and local rails.
How fast does a cross-border payment settle on Infinite?
It depends on the corridor and rail. Stablecoin legs settle around the clock; local rails such as SPEI, Pix, Faster Payments, and SEPA Instant clear in seconds where available; SWIFT follows correspondent timelines. Transfer Routes picks the rail once the counterparty is vetted.
Which stablecoin should businesses use for cross-border payments?
One that is fully reserved, regularly attested, and liquid in your corridors. Infinite routes behind the API, so you are not locked to one coin; see the Stablecoin Payments page for which networks and coins the account can reach today.
Who holds the funds?
Bank partners hold customer funds in accounts established under their programs. Infinite operates the network, the API, and the compliance program; custody of the balances stays inside the bank perimeter.
Do we need to hold stablecoins to pay suppliers abroad?
No. You fund in your currency, your supplier receives theirs, and any stablecoin leg runs underneath. See integrating stablecoin payments without holding crypto.
Do recipients need a crypto wallet?
No. Recipients can be paid out to local bank accounts on the rails that fit their corridor. A cleared supplier can also hold its own Infinite Account with US account and routing numbers when that fit is better than receiving wires.
How long does onboarding take?
Compliance review typically takes one to two days instead of about thirty, because a counterparty cleared once stays cleared for the network and Compliance AI assembles the case under human-approved policy.
Bring the corridor that hurts most.
