One day, 1,500 operators, one of us
Thursday, May 29, 2025 — ten days after the GENIUS Act cleared its first Senate vote, with the whole industry converging on New York.
The Metropolitan Pavilion, New York — roughly 1,500 stablecoin operators, banks, investors, and regulators in one building.
43 sessions and 100+ speakers — regulators past and present, issuers, and the platforms building payments on stablecoins.
Nikhil, on the operator track.
A day of conversations with the banks, issuers, and platforms deciding how regulated stablecoin payments should work — as the rules were being written.

Founder & CEOWorked the operator track at the industry’s first dedicated conference — conversations with the banks, issuers, and platforms deciding how regulated stablecoin payments should work as the GENIUS Act moved through Congress.
What we talked about
Regulation stopped being hypothetical
With the GENIUS Act moving through the Senate, the conversation shifted from whether stablecoins would be regulated to how — with voices from NYDFS and former CFPB and FDIC leadership on stage. The act became law seven weeks later.
Issuance commoditizes; compliance doesn’t
A theme across the day: issuing a stablecoin is becoming an embedded capability rather than a business. What stays scarce is everything around the token — counterparty review, screening before funds move, and a ledger that reconciles.
The industry drawing its own lines
“We can’t have another FTX” ran through the operator sessions — full reserves, real BSA/AML programs, no misleading bank claims. Self-policing before rulemaking is the compliance-first posture Infinite is built on.
