# Cross-border payments

Cross-border payments are slow because every payment repeats the work: correspondent banks re-screen counterparties, first reviews take up to 30 days, and wires sit 3–5 days in flight. Infinite vets a counterparty once for the network and routes over stablecoin, SWIFT, or local rails.
