# FAQ

Infinite (infinite.net) answers the questions buyers ask first: coverage, custody, FX quotes, onboarding, and what it does not do. Each answer is quoted from the page that owns the question, linked under it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which currencies can Infinite send and collect?

USD moves over ACH, Fedwire, and RTP, and by SWIFT wire to and from major corridors. Published local-currency corridors settle GBP, EUR, MXN, and BRL, and collections in those currencies land in USD. Payouts also reach AED over SWIFT and INR over IMPS, UPI, NEFT, and RTGS.

From [Rail and stablecoin coverage](https://infinite.net/resources/coverage.md#faq).

### What if a currency or corridor is not listed?

USD wires still reach major SWIFT corridors. Bring the currency, the country, and the direction you need to a demo, and the team will confirm what is published for your flow.

From [Rail and stablecoin coverage](https://infinite.net/resources/coverage.md#faq).

### How does Infinite hold customer funds?

In accounts established at a bank partner, custody inside the bank perimeter. Stablecoin wallets are established and controlled by the bank partner, with keys inside its custody perimeter.

### Can non-US businesses get a USD account on Infinite?

Yes. A non-US business that clears onboarding gets an Infinite Account with its own US account and routing numbers on domestic US rails, after the same 1–2 day review. Eligibility depends on entity type and jurisdiction.

From [Global fintechs: USD accounts for non-US businesses](https://infinite.net/industries/global-fintechs#faq).

### Which currencies can Infinite convert?

GBP, EUR, MXN, and BRL against USD today, settled locally over Faster Payments, SEPA, SPEI, and PIX. Ask sales about other corridors.

### How long is an FX quote valid?

Each quote returns its own expiry. Accept within the window and the rate is locked; let it lapse and nothing moves. Window lengths per pair are in the API reference.

From [Foreign Exchange: currencies and quotes](https://infinite.net/payments/fx#faq).

### Do we need a separate FX provider?

No. FX runs in the same Infinite Account, API, ledger, and compliance network as every other payment.

From [Foreign Exchange: currencies and quotes](https://infinite.net/payments/fx#faq).

### How long does onboarding take on Infinite?

Most sessions finish in one sitting, and automated checks typically clear the same day. Approved customers get accounts and move money immediately.

From [Embedded Compliance: onboarding](https://infinite.net/agents/embedded-compliance#faq).

### Does a customer vetted on Infinite get re-vetted?

No. A counterparty vetted once is vetted for the whole network, which is what moves first-time compliance review from ~30 days to 1–2 days.

From [Third-party funds flow](https://infinite.net/resources/funds-flow/third-party#faq).

### What does onboarding take when we move only our own money?

KYB on your business: entity documents, ownership, and a compliance review (see Know Your Business). No customer funds move, so there is no customer-level onboarding.

From [First-party funds flow](https://infinite.net/resources/funds-flow/first-party#faq).

### What happens when a transfer is flagged?

It stops. A named analyst reviews the case Infinite Agents assembled, and funds move only after a human decision, which joins the transfer’s exportable audit record.

From [Security: flagged transfers](https://infinite.net/security#flagged-transfer).

### Can Infinite’s AI move money or approve customers on its own?

No. Infinite Agents assemble the case inside written, human-approved policy; cases that require judgment route to named analysts. The AI never sets policy, files reports, or exercises judgment on its own.

From [Security: what the AI decides](https://infinite.net/security#ai-authority).

### Do we need to hold stablecoins to pay suppliers abroad?

No. You fund in your currency, your supplier receives theirs, and any stablecoin leg runs underneath.

From [Crossborder Payments: paying suppliers](https://infinite.net/solutions/crossborder-payments#faq).
